Happy 2015 from me, Dani here at Kid Nurse!
As we start this beautiful new year, I just wanted to take a minute to reflect on how thankful I am for the Kid Nurse community that has formed since just July of last year and how thankful I am that you have been a part of it. I am absolutely blown away by all that has taken place since I launched this blog about 7 months ago. I started this blog with the pure intention of providing parents with easily assessable, accurate health information for children. Since then, I have written all about children’s health and wellness issues, immunization information, parenting ideas, and hot topics in pediatric medicine. We even did our first giveaway in December! Much to my delight, these posts have gone out to thousands of people in hundreds of countries eager to provide the best care to children! I have loved every comment and question from parents, because I firmly believe a big part of my job is listening to your experiences as we learn together. I have had so much fun watching our community grow and I have appreciated every new like, follow, and share as you have voiced your support for Kid Nurse. So truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
As 2015 is now here, I am so excited for all that the new year holds! I have so many plans for Kid Nurse in 2015 and I wanted to share a few of them:
1. More Content: This year, I plan on blogging even more, especially when it comes to common diseases and immunizations. What do you do with runny noses, fevers, strep throat, asthma, etc? Should your children be on a standard immunization schedule or a delayed immunization schedule? As always, please let me know if there are specific topics you would like me to write about! I love, love, love hearing your ideas and questions!
2. Pinterest: Pinners get ready! I have made it a goal to get Kid Nurse more involved with Pinterest this year and I couldn’t be more excited! But I have to admit, I don’t feel like a natural when in comes to Pinterest, so I know I will need your help. If you haven’t had a chance to, start following me on Pinterest. Join the fun!
3. More Giveaways! It’s simple, who doesn’t like giveaways? In 2015, I plan on highlighting some of my favorite products and giving them away. Get ready!
4. Cute Kid Friday: Let the cuteness begin! I firmly believe that surviving every week and making it to Friday is a reason to celebrate, so I came up with the idea of Cute Kid Friday. It’s really simple, every Friday, I am going to post a picture of video of cute kids. So if you know cute kids, have cute kids, or are a cute kid, start sending your pictures to me at dani@kidnurse.org!
So here’s to a bright, blessed and wonderful 2015! Wishing you and your family all of this and more from the bottom of my heart. Thanks so much for being a part of the Kid Nurse family. I can’t wait to see all that 2015 has in store!
